Little pieces of cold, creamy chocolate...with crunchy, sweet mint candy covering it all...

♥ Peppermint Truffles ♥
- 1 cup cream
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 lb. chopped chocolate
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- about three cups of crushed peppermint candies, chopped nuts or cocoa powder...really any topping you would like!
Bring cream and butter to a boil in a saucepan; pour over chopped chocolate in a bowl. When melted, add vanilla and stir until smooth. Chill until firm.
Scoop with a spoon and roll into balls, then roll in crushed peppermint candies, or desired topping. Chill until set.
