Peppermint Truffles

There's really only one word to accurately describe these candies...

  P  E  R  F  E  C  T 

Little pieces of cold, creamy chocolate...with crunchy, sweet mint candy covering it all...

Peppermint Truffles

  • 1 cup cream
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 lb. chopped chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • about three cups of crushed peppermint candies, chopped nuts or cocoa powder...really any topping you would like!

 Bring cream and butter to a boil in a saucepan; pour over chopped chocolate in a bowl. When melted, add vanilla and stir until smooth. Chill until firm.
Scoop with a spoon and roll into balls, then roll in crushed peppermint candies, or desired topping. Chill until set.
